Next stop is Glenmorgan at Monty’s Garage. This is an old wooden floor garage as garages were in the 1940’s along with a look at his vintage vehicles. It’s a trip down memory lane for some and a new experience for the under 40’s. Glenmorgan also has the end of that railway line.
Back on the coach and on to Surat. This is where we visit the Surat Museum. Here is the last Cobb & Co stage coach that ran in Australia in 1924.
At last Roma, still with a bit to do. On arrival we drop our bags at Motel Carnarvon, a low set easy access motel. From here we have a local tour guide hop onto the coach for our town tour including a visit to the Anglican Church to see and hear the story of the Stain Glass Windows.
Our evening meal is at “The Big Rig” followed by the sound and light show.
